Our #2125 hammer is an excellent choice for dent work on small and medium bore instruments: trumpets, french horn, etc. Both faces of the head have a diameter of 3/4" (19mm), with a slight radius on one side and a sharp radius on the other.
The hammer head is precision machined from non-corrosive, rust free, 303 stainless steel and polished to a fine finish. The hammer shaft is machined from 6066 T6 aluminum and fitted with a nicely tapered, cross patterned handle machined from Delrin®. For technicians who prefer to use a magnet to locate dent balls we have inset a strong, rare earth magnet into the handle's bottom end. Head, shaft, and handle are properly sized and weighted for good balance. Hammer overall length: 12" (30.5cm) / weight: 4 oz. (113 gr).
